Granby, once scarred by a bulldozer attack that destroyed 11 buildings on Main Street, and a reputation as the graveyard of businesses and real estate developments. Granby's public image was also worn and impoverished, with a downtown that languished in high vacancy. Paul's was able to defi all the odds and turn the community around into a prospering and vibrant community. 

Paul new mission is dedicated to empowering experienced and aspiring leaders, equipping you with the tools, knowledge, and creative strategies to be super effective for your community.

 Mayor Paul's faith didn't just move mountains; it transformed Granby, Colorado. His visionary leadership secured 1,500 acres, igniting a future of success. The town flourished under Paul's guidance = $100 million in development, 250+ jobs, downtown revitalization, 700+ acres of protected lands, and upon finishing office the town was debt-free, with $12 million in reserves, and record sales tax revenues.

Beyond town borders, Paul, as Mayor and leadership coach, collaborated with senators, CEOs, and non-profit leaders, earning accolades like "Company of the Year." His impact extended globally through an orphanage, school, and a free online Bible college with 16,000 students.

The Transformation Story of Granby Colorado

 Granby, still reeling from a bulldozer attack 12 years prior that took out 11 buildings including town hall, faced a myriad of issues—several large failed real estate developments, a half-empty main street, a severe shortage of housing, limited job opportunities, minimal public transportation, a tired downtown, a dated town brand, a poor overall image, and a struggling economy, to name a few.


Addressing these challenges required more than just policies and strategies. It demanded a faith-fueled vision, a commitment to action, to persevere against all odds, and the willingness to face public opinion, which can be harsh and unforgiving, and to know that no progress is perfect, but understanding that it was imperative to move into a more prosperous future.


After countless hours of prayer and mapping out a brighter future for Granby, Paul charted a bold and daring path forward. Skepticism and doubts from others surrounded his ambitious plan, with naysayers predicting bankruptcy and labeling any type of success would be nothing short of a miracle.


But under Paul's leadership, the town acquired 1500 acres of spectacular property and this property became the catalyst for the transformative renewal that would redefine Granby. 


As a result of the new land acquired, the town attracted a $100 million dollar resort that breathed life into our once-struggling community, safeguarded 700 acres through a Land Trust easement that also paid the town $2 million for trails and improvements, and protecting the Colorado River and the land's natural beauty for future generations. 


During Paul's tenure the town approved 250 attainable apartments and a community of 310 entry-priced homes. The town partnered with neighboring towns to establish year-round public bus transportation. The town won awards for the town's new branding campaign, and greatly enhanced Granby's overall image, transforming it into a vibrant and award-winning destination.


Remarkably, we achieved all these milestones without raising taxes, and paid off all the town's debt, increased sales tax revenues by 26%, elevated property values, and with over $12 million in reserves, the little town has become an inspiring testament to what faith, vision, and perseverance can accomplish.
